Designing is free, and once published your link works for 48 hours with every feature. The photos are samples.

How to use it

  1. Pick your photo, or a no-photo design

A photo from your phone opens on your device only. Then pick a design and drag the photo into place.

  2. Add your names and date

The couple’s names and the wedding date, and the city if you like. The Hijri date is calculated for you.

  3. Download or share

Choose a size, then download, or share straight from your phone to WhatsApp status or a story.

What is a save the date image?

A save the date is a short announcement that comes before the wedding invitation. It tells family and friends that the day is yours so they keep it free. It carries your names and the date, sometimes the city, and leaves the venue, time and RSVP to the full invitation that follows.

It usually goes out three to six months before the wedding, and earlier for guests who travel. Wording and timing are covered in our save the date guide.

With a photo or without one

Not every family posts the couple’s photos, and that’s understandable. So many designs use no photo at all: your initials on a wax seal or in an elegant ring, two doves, two rings or a lantern above your names, or the month calendar with your day circled by a heart. The white roses, red roses, olive branches, night sky and pattern designs work with or without a photo. If you want your photo, choose the arch, circle, instant photo or full photo, and drag it until it sits right.

Your photo stays with you

Your photo is opened and drawn inside your browser. It is never sent to our server or stored anywhere, so nobody sees it until you share it, and it is gone when you close the page. The names and date you type are saved on your device only, so they are there when you come back.

FAQ

Is our photo uploaded to your site?

No. The photo is opened and drawn inside your browser on your device. It is never sent to our server or stored anywhere, and it is gone when you close the page. Only the names and date you typed are saved, on your device, so they are there if you come back.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free, with no account or sign-up, and you can download as many times as you like.

Which size works for WhatsApp status and stories?

Use “Status & story”, 1080×1920 at the phone’s 9:16 ratio, so it fills WhatsApp status and Instagram or Snapchat stories. For the feed use “Portrait post” (1080×1350), and “Square” (1080×1080) for a square post or a chat.

We don’t post our photos. Can we use it without one?

Yes. Many designs use no photo at all: your initials on a gold or red wax seal or in a ring, two doves, two rings or a lantern above your names, or the month calendar with your day circled by a heart. The floral, night sky and pattern designs work with or without a photo.

Does the image show your site’s name?

Yes, a small “koroty.com” at the bottom of the image.

Can it show the Hijri date?

Yes. The Hijri date is calculated from your Gregorian date using the Umm al-Qura calendar and shown below it, and you can hide it.

When should we post a save the date?

Usually three to six months before the wedding, and earlier if guests need to travel. The full invitation follows three to four weeks before the day.

My iPhone photo won’t open. What can I do?

Some computer browsers can’t open iPhone HEIC photos. Open the tool on the iPhone itself, which converts the photo when you pick it, or send the photo to yourself on WhatsApp, save it and pick that copy.

Can I make a full invitation afterwards?

Yes. On Koroty you can design a full digital wedding invitation: a link that greets each guest by name, with RSVP, the venue map and a countdown. Designing and previewing are free.
