How to use it

  1. Pick the occasion and the host

Ten occasions, each with the right hosts: the bride’s henna from her mother or herself, the jaha from the groom’s father or the tribe.

  2. Add names, date and venue

The couple’s names, the date, time and venue. The generator writes out the weekday and the time for you.

  3. Pick a tone and copy

Formal, with a verse, warm, elegant or short for WhatsApp; “Show me more versions” gives you fresh ones. Copy your favourite or send it on WhatsApp.

What makes good wedding invitation wording?

A clear invitation answers four questions first: who is hosting, whose celebration it is, when, and where. The nice phrasing comes around those. That’s why the generator starts with the host and their relation to the couple, then writes the full date and time, then the venue, then a warm closing line.

  • Host: the groom’s father, the parents, the bride’s family, the whole family, or the couple themselves.
  • Couple: by name, the way your families prefer.
  • Date and time: weekday, date and time; always include the weekday.
  • Venue: the hall and the city, plus a map link in a digital invitation.

Formal: Mr. and Mrs. Khaled Hassan request the pleasure of your company at the wedding of their son Ahmad to Sara, on Thursday, the fourteenth of January 2027, at eight o’clock in the evening, at Al Yasmin Hall, Amman. We look forward to celebrating with you.

From the couple: Together with their families, Sara and Ahmad invite you to celebrate their wedding, on Friday, 15 January 2027, at 7:00 PM, at The Garden Venue, Dubai.

FAQ

Is the generator free?

Yes, completely free with no sign-up. The names you type stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.

Can I edit the wording afterwards?

Yes. Copy the version you like and change anything you want; it’s a starting point written in the usual invitation style.

How do I add the Hijri date?

Pick the date and tick “Add the Hijri date” to show both dates, following the Umm al-Qura calendar. For conversion alone, use the Hijri ⇄ Gregorian converter.

Who hosts the henna night?

The bride’s henna night is usually hosted by her mother or family, or by the bride herself for her friends, and it is for women. Some families also hold a henna night for the groom, which has its own option.

How do I word a jaha invitation?

Choose “Jaha” to word it from the groom’s father or the tribe, with “to ask for the hand of…” plus the gathering place and time. The bride’s family has a separate “Receiving the jaha” option.

Why “request the pleasure of your company”?

It is the classic formal phrase for a celebration. The generator also gives simpler, warmer versions if you prefer a modern tone.

Can I use the wording in a digital invitation?

Yes. On Koroty you write the invitation text however you like, so you can paste your chosen wording and send each guest a personal link.
